About the Company

Select Residential Brokerage is a privately held real estate firm, focused on providing superior real estate services to individual clients.  Our goal is to always act in the client's best interest, to give ethical and honest advice, and to maintain a high level of communication with our clients.  

When you call Select Residential, you will be speaking with an owner of the company, not an assistant or receptionist.  We believe that the only way to provide professional, high-quality real estate services, is to provide the services ourselves.

MEET THE OWNERS:

Our broker, Craig Whitcomb, is the founder of what many in the DFW area refer to as Builder Contingency Management programs - assisting home buyers in selling their preowned home so they can buy a new home.  Having worked at large real estate offices, he started his own company in 2005, when he realized that clients were not getting the quality of professional advice and level of service they deserve.  He wanted to have a company where people could come and feel comfortable that they were dealing with experienced, professional people. 

Craig has done hundreds, if not thousands, of real estate transactions.  He has management relationships with most of the area's major builders, and has experience in new construction, preowned home sales, investor sales, short sales and foreclosures.  He lists homes for several major builders and private businesses, as well as individual homeowners throughout the marketplace.  There truly may not be one individual who knows the entire DFW marketplace better.

Our co-owner is Diane Whitcomb.  While Craig focuses on the sales side of the business, Diane focuses on the operations side.  With a Masters degree in Business and a real estate license, she has the eye for detail that is required when dealing in real estate.  Her primary focus is on managing the contract-to-close process.  While many realtors are passive, and sit back while things happen, Diane actively monitors the process to assure all parties are meeting deadlines, and that transactions are running smoothly and on time.  She manages virtually all the paperwork that comes through our doors, and is easily accessible to clients.
